Those of us that feel that ritualist got nerfed a little too much should start a petition instead of complaining.'

I used to whine about the rit being useless, but I stopped that after making about 200k recently with my rit.
That's farming off course. PvE is another story.

It looks like in the chase for balancing PvP, Anet completely neglected the PvE aspect of Ritualists... Yes, I understand that Rits were owning in PvP and that had to be stopped somehow.. But... That has to do with my PvE experience how? Why should I care? I don't PvP!

With GWEN Anet clearly shows that Guild Wars is not just about PvP by far. So all those people who used to say "GW is for PvP and PvEers can burn in hell" cant keep saying that nonsense anymore.

Why then, is there such neglect toward PvE rits from Anet? They only have to do 2 more things to make me want to delete my Rit.. Increase recharge time on splinter weapon and nerf Vengefu was Khanei. This will be the last drop.

Ultimately, it really doesn't matter why Rits got nerfed so badly. I don't even care for the reasons. What matters is only one thing:

WHEN PEOPLE WANT SOMETHING TO HAPPEN, THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

When one person wants the Rits "boosted" no one gives a damn. When 100 people want it, someone will take notice. When a thousand people want it, it will be done. (that's a complete dramatization off course, but you get my point)

The choice is yours: either be a sheep, bend your head down and take it up the ****, or create a petition and sign it.

Either way, life does not end with Rits nerfed, there are other things in life aside from GW. (now.. if only I could really believe that )

You know, I'm not overjoyed at a lot of it, but you guys have serious coping issues.

There are precisely 3 changes that have any effect on a PvE rit: Ancestor's rage, anguish, and wielder's strike

Ancestor's rage hurts the most, as it was one of the best AoE spells available, and now it's totally worthless. Thankfully, you can still spam the crap out of spirit rift and not feel the pinch *that* much.

Anguish is kind of a stupid change. Before, it was an expensive pain. Now, it's a really expensive pain that precludes taking any of the spirits with more interesting effects. Dead skill as it is, in my opinion.

Wielder's strike is a mild pinch. It's annoying, but not particulary hard to replace, as it was never very good in PvE anyway thanks to a longish recharge. That said, the skill is dead, and that always sucks.

EDIT: Longasc, I've been running this for channeling since the nerfs, give it a shot.

[skill]spirit rift[/skill][skill]essence strike[/skill][skill]spirit burn[/skill][skill]bloodsong[/skill][skill]weapon of quickening[/skill][skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill][skill]dulled weapon[/skill][skill]death pact signet[/skill]

The dulled weapon slot is for any old utility spell. I like it a lot in hard mode, since the uber-high level enemies tned to critical a lot. Hard. Dervishes become a lot less painful with it on them. Weapon of quickening makes a nice support skill for casters too. Throw it on yourself and a couple of eles and everyone goes nuking-berserk.

Well to keep it simple Anet have just ruined my favourite class, what the hell posessed them to make such stupid changes?

"Oh no Rt spam is so Imba, let's nerf them." It's the same for -any- skill. I'm sick of them nerfing things because of some group of PvP players or another who all decide it'd be funny to spam the same builds.

What exactly was wrong with Spirit Rift? Not that hard to move out in 3 seconds before the orb explodes..

Not hard? Well, then try to get out with Shadow Prison + Iron Palm Necro on you. You have 1 second of 33% movement speed to escape, gl.
And the problem with SR is that, well... it's AoE (nice range) and it can pwn up to 4 players at one time. No living person can infuse that many people.

A single skill, Ancestor's Rage, has been affected for my builds. I know I'm being callous, but if you actually display some inventiveness and don't just use the latest wikibuild or do something other than spirit spam, these updates will mean very little.

So you can have 4 Shadow Prison -> Iron Palmes to keep 4 people in SR? And as a Monk if you see an orb flying over someone and they're getting hexed and knocked down... it kinda gives away the spike

It starts to hit an awful lot of people on an altar match.

It doesn't affect me at all because I play my rit which is a support class as, y'know... a support class.
